funny you mention GS in this enotcxt. in 2008, on a business meeting at GS,we presented out product, the IT group. a high level executive was in themeeting. at the end of the meeting, we were discussinggrid computing and he remarked that with the arrival of Amazon's EC2, from anIT perspective, the playing field has been leveled. he continued the thought that anyone with the right idea and algorithm wouldhave the same resources as GS but without the overhead of managing theseresources.
